The Center at Eden Hill in Dover, Delaware welcomed their first patients in February 2018 and was fully certified by Medicare in May. They are now able to accept Medicare and Private Pay patients. The Center is a 65,000 sq. ft. skilled nursing facility with 80 beds focusing on short-term physical rehabilitation and medical services to patients recovering from injuries or illnesses. The facility will be able to treat Congestive Heart Failure, Total Hip Arthroplasty, Total Knee Arthroplasty, Stroke, Wounds, Oncology Care, Multiple Sclerosis, IDDM/SP DKA, DVT/PE, Status Post Myocardial Infarction/CABG, Pneumonia, COPD, ESRD, Cellulitis, Decubitus Ulcers, and Gastrointestinal Hemorrhage.

On Thursday, June 14th, 2018, The Center at Eden Hill held an open house, with many people in attendance, including Governor John Carney, Mayor Robin Christiansen, physicians and hospitalists. Somerset appreciates everyone’s help in the completion of this beautiful skilled nursing facility.
