On June 11, 2021, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released their final program reporting requirements and associated reporting deadlines. Below are a couple FAQs:
When will I be able to begin reporting on the use of funds?
The PRF Reporting Portal will open for reporting on the use of funds on July 1, 2021. Providers will report on PRF payments exceeding $10,000 in aggregate received during each specific Payment Received Period as specified in the table below.
Reporting must be completed and submitted to Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) by the last date of the Reporting Time Period in accordance with the following table.
Will HRSA communicate to providers when the PRF Reporting Portal is open for the submission of reports on the use of funds?
Yes. HRSA will communicate to providers via the email addresses that were provided during registration. Providers can also check the Reporting Requirements and Auditing webpage for the latest updates about the PRF Reporting Portal.
Technical Assistance
HRSA will hold webinars for reporting entities and other interested stakeholders, which will include opportunities for question and answer sessions. HRSA will also update and issue additional FAQs and a detailed PRF Reporting Portal User Guide to provide greater clarity about the reporting process.
We continue to review and analyze the updated reporting guidelines from HHS. We are hopeful they will provide some additional clarifications and training as they have indicated such from their June 11, 2021 notice.
