The Health Care Real Estate team has been busy the first half of this year. They have completed three beautiful projects, a medical office building/surgery center, a hospital and a skilled nursing facility, with the last certificate of occupancy being obtained in May 2019. Somerset provided entity formation, capital and finance sourcing, construction oversight and liaison services for these projects. We’re excited to have these up and running which will be a benefit for the communities.
OrthoArizona South Gilbert, located in Gilbert, Arizona is a 49,600 sq. ft. medical office building and surgery center. OrthoArizona and USPI are the tenants of this building which includes a medical clinic, medical imaging, physical therapy gym and surgery center. OrthoArizona started seeing patients in January and we were granted final certificate of occupancy on February 26, 2019.
St. Vincent Orthopedic Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana was the next to obtain certificate of occupancy on April 18, 2019. This hospital is 136,000 sq. ft. which includes 48 inpatient rooms and 10 operating suites. Services being provided are elective orthopedic and spine surgeries, pre-procedure education, pre-procedure clinic, imaging services, laboratory, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, durable medical equipment, pastoral care & chapel, hospitality, dining services and community meeting space. The open house for the hospital was June 27, 2019.
The Center at CenterPlace, a skilled nursing facility in Greeley, Colorado received their certificate of occupancy in May 2019. This is a 54 bed, 55,000 sq. ft. facility which also includes a physical therapy gym, a dining room and private dining room. This property will be managed by Veritas Management Group. It’s now open for patients!
