Somerset is pleased to announce the recent promotions of three professionals to Senior Manager. Please join us in congratulating Kevin, Lori and Beth!

Kevin R. Koven, CPA, of Somerset’s Assurance Team, has been promoted to Senior Manager. Kevin is experienced in working in all aspects of accounting including audit, tax and consulting. He spends time working on assurance compliance services for many manufacturing, construction, software and other privately-held clients and employee benefit plans. He has also spends time working in various consulting capacities in transaction services and outsourced CFO engagements.

Lori J. Porten, CPA, CMPE, OHCC, of Somerset’s Health Care Team, has been promoted to Senior Manager. Before coming to Somerset, Lori worked in the hospital and private practice arenas as well as an independent consultant, where she focused on maximizing provider and staff efficiencies while reducing costs. She specializes in identifying Key Performance Indicators and developing tools to identify areas in need of focus by analyzing trends and comparing current performance to historical performance, relative benchmarks and current organizational goals.

Beth A. Slaninka, CPA, of Somerset’s Real Estate Team, has been promoted to Senior Manager. She has been in the accounting field for over 25 years and has experience in both public accounting and industry.
